An important part of the experience of training in the United States is learning to deal with others whose culture and attitudes differ from your own. We encourage you to use your good judgment when trying to solve these problems. Again, if something is not going well at your host company please contact your representative at Pan Atlantic as soon as possible- we are here to help!
As you are nearing the end of your training you will need to do several things before you leave the country:
- Completion of a final program evaluation is required. This will be sent to you via email by your Pan Atlantic representative. You should also let your Pan Atlantic representative know the date of your departure and provide us with a copy of your travel itinerary showing departure from the US. Upon request Pan Atlantic will send you a Certificate of Completion after fulfilling all the program requirements. We also suggest that you request a letter from your host company stating that you successfully completed the training.
- Your health insurance policy is valid only for the program dates listed on your DS-2019. If you plan to stay in the US during the 30-day travel grace period following the end date on your DS-2019 and you wish to extend your coverage you must contact Pan Atlantic prior to the end date on your DS-2019 to make insurance arrangements. Additional fees for extended insurance will apply.
