J-1 Professional Training Program

Overview

The J-1 Professional Training Program is designed for professionals who want to deepen their expertise and gain advanced experience in their field.

This program focuses on skill development, career growth, and international exposure.

Who This Program Is For

​You may be a strong fit if you:
  • Hold a degree and have at least 1 year of related work experience, OR;
  • Have 5 or more years of relevant professional experience

What You'll Do

​As a trainee, you will:
  • ​Build on your existing professional experience
  • Develop advanced, career-focused skills
  • Gain insight into U.S. industry practices
  • Train in a structured professional environment

Program Duration

  • ​Typically up to 18 months
*Maximum allowed program duration can vary depending on field of training, such as Hospitality & Tourism, which cannot exceed 12 months*
